This weekend, the second stage of the IV National Women’s Cricket Championship took place in the city of Poços de Caldas, at the Ninho dos Periquitos Training Center.

The Championship was attended by the Brasilia Cricket Ladies team, who came to defend the women’s national title, while the Cricket team Poços de Caldas was looking for the first victory of the year.

The weekend also ended when the Brazilian women’s team was summoned to the WSAC VII, which will take place in Itaguaí on October 28th to 31st, where the national team is looking for the South American second title.

The result of the games is as follows:

Game 1:

BCL 130/6 x 93/7 CPC

Game 2:

CPC 115/6 x 95/7 BCL

Match 3 (15 overs):

BCL 63/1 (in 8 overs) x 59/8 CPC

With these results, the experienced team from Brasília maintained the National Title.
